• Remove extra checks in trie.
  
  Pass the existing private struct pointer instead of the public one, so
  we don't need to do a NULL check and offset again.

Inline some used-once functions.

• glade: Use border width instead of margins.
  
  This seems to work a bit better, in that Glade doesn't forget to draw
  it, and otherwise looks the same.
  
  Plus, it's a bit shorter in the XML.
